Published on Aug 2, 2014 Lucas county had a water advisement. Bacteria in the water. Kroger was packed within minutes and quickly ran out of water. Krogers, Meijers, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens -all NO WATER!!

I couldn't even get into the Costco parking lot. The lines stretched in both directions around the building!!

The city of Toledo released an urgent notice to all Toledo water users overnight. The city is asking anyone who receives water from Toledo to avoid drinking or boiling the water. This warning also affects people in Lucas County and parts of Michigan. 

Lucas County officials say well water is not affected and the City of Oregon, Monroe, Michigan and Genoa say their water is fine.

Chemists testing water at Toledo's Collins Park Water Treatment Plant tested for microcystin in excess of the recommended amount.
