JACKSON, MI — Due to a state of emergency declared in Toledo after toxins were found in the water supply, some Jackson area stores are watching their weekend water supply dwindle away.

Polly's Country Markets is reporting that its Brooklyn store is wiped out of water, and the supplies at the Chelsea, Adrian and Jackson stores is dropping.

Hunter Sullivan is the store director at the Ferguson Road store and said his store should be OK for the rest of the day, with an additional delivery coming on Sunday, Aug. 3.

"The 1-gallon containers are getting hit really hard right now," he said. "We'll wait and see if our supply lasts today, but the problem is everyone coming from out of town and state and filling up.
